For years, I balanced two completely different worlds. I built a demanding career in IT operations and helpdesk support, managing complex technical problems and strict workflows. But beneath that structured environment was a burning desire for art, design, and visual communication.
During the global shifts of 2020, in my late thirties and as a mum of two, I made the decisive pivot to follow that creative pull and earn a Bachelor Degree in Digital Media.
As I finished my studies, I quickly realised I had zero interest in designing for corporate machines pushing another gadget no one needs. I also worried my unconventional journey meant I was behind, and that there might not be space for someone like me in the industry.
That changed when I began volunteering for a Not For Profit organisation. I saw firsthand how critical a cohesive visual presence is. It is not just about aesthetics; it ensures the outside look of a brand perfectly matches its inside brilliance, making it easier to build trust and secure funding.
Fuelled by this realisation, I launched Paola Antieri Studio and quickly discovered that my IT background was not a detour, it was my secret weapon. Because I spent years learning exactly how to diagnose technical issues and manage strict systems, I apply that exact same rigorous logic to my design process.
Today, I use this unique intersection of technical precision and creative passion to untangle complex missions into beautiful, cohesive brands. Creativity is my driving force, but it is deeply intentional and flawlessly organised.

Meet Rocky
Every unshakable foundation I build is strictly supervised by my trusty studio dog. As the Chief Wellness Officer, his primary roles include ensuring I take regular screen breaks, enforcing mandatory outdoor walks, and acting as the studio's official stress-relief manager. You will likely see him making a cameo in the background of our video calls to keep our process fun, relaxed, and highly human!
